Mahesh Patel is the President & Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at AGS Transact Technologies Limited (AGSTTL). Spearheading technology vision for the company, he is responsible for planning, development and overseeing implementation of technology projects and supports organizational growth by helping clients transform their businesses through the company’s technology solutions.

Mahesh has over 20 years of experience within the field of technology including electronics and computer application. Further, having spent 16 years in the payments industry, he has a deep understanding of the payments technology business, including operational aspects. Mahesh has developed as well as implemented strategy and process for technology operations and delivery of projects to achieve optimal resource utilization for clients and making the company’s technology department a profit centre.

Prior to joining AGSTTL, Mahesh was the Executive Director and member of board at Euronet India Ltd. During this period (2011 and 2013) he was recognized for his key contribution in design, development and implementation of Rupay, IMPS and AEPS projects by NPCI. He has also been invited as a speaker at key industry forums like PCI Digital Money, ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) to name a few.

Mahesh is an electronics engineer with post graduate diploma in advance computing from C-DAC, Pune.
