Former Managing Director, Kenichiro Hibi appointed as President for Sony Brazil

As announced today, by Sony India Mr. Sunil Nayyar will replace Mr.Kenichiro Hibi the former Managing Director of Sony India and this will take effect from April 1, 2018. Sony India today announced the appointment of The change of guard marks a historic milestone, with Sunil being the first Indian to be appointed as Managing Director for Sony India. In this new role, Sunil will be responsible for spearheading the overall growth and profitability of the company within the region, by driving an integrated business and marketing strategy and directing excellence in market performance across all categories.

The Former Managing Director of Sony India Mr.Kenichiro Hibi, were holding this seat from 2012 till 2018. Now Mr.Kenichiro Hibi is being further promoted as President for Sony Brazil and this also will take effecti on 01^st April, 2018.  He played a vital role in leading some of the biggest markets for the company such as India and Russia with his long experience that is around two decades.

With Brazil being his third BRIC country, after Russia and India, his primary role would revolve around managing and overseeing sales, marketing and after-sales activities of the brand.
