BookMyShow CEO Ashish Hemrajani Wins Manchester's TheTicketingBusiness Awards For Executive Of The Year

BookMyShow's Founder and CEO Ashish Hemrajani has been awarded the prestigious 'Executive of the Year 2018' at the recently held TheTicketingBusiness Awards during a private ceremony at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester in England. The award is recognition for Ashish's pioneering and visionary leadership which has transformed the entertainment ticketing sector and taken it to new heights. The other finalists competing in the category were founders and CEOs from ticketing platforms across the world.

Now in their third year, The Ticketing Business Awards (previously the Ticketing Technology Awards) are the only awards to recognize a whole spectrum of achievements across the global entertainment ticketing industry. 

Hundreds of nominations were whittled down to create the shortlist, which was judged by an independent panel of industry figures. "Our congratulations go to everyone who reached the podium," said Ian Nuttall, Founder of TheTicketingBusiness. "Winners included our industry's leaders, achievers and stand-out innovators, who should all be very proud of their achievements."

The award was accepted by Anil Makhija, Head of Service Delivery, Operations and New On-Ground Technology Deployment at BookMyShow, who at the event also spoke about BookMyShow's India success story.
