Hyderabad
Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair (HJF 2018), the premium jewellery trade show of
South India, is all set to showcase the finest jewellery and an
exclusive artisan's collection by bringing-in topmost jewellers, import &
export merchants and industry associations in the City of Pearls. The signature
show, organized by UBM India, India 's
leading exhibition organizer is being held in partnership with Hitech Jewellery
Manufacturers Association (HJMA) and Diamond merchants association along with
135 district associations from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil
Nadu.
The 11th anniversary
of HJF will be a three-day fair from 8th - 10th June, 2018 at HICC,
Novotel, Hitech City
and will present India 's
finest workmanship on an impressively grand platform.
Over 200
exhibitors will participate this year, comprising jewellery brands,
wholesalers, retailers, importers and exporters, jewellery manufacturers,
machinery manufacturers, diamond, gemstone, pearl suppliers and traders,
precious metal and jewellery mounting traders and suppliers and representatives
from trade and governmental bodies. This year the fair will have an elaborate
machinery pavilion consisting of 30 exhibitors displaying leading technology,
machinery in jewellery making and allied services.
Other key
highlights of the fair:
. An Artisans'
Zone: The zone will feature innovative skills of artisans who make
distinctive jewellery. Some of the displays will include miniature products by
Dr. Talabathula Sai, a miniature artisan and a variety of innovative
products in Gold& Silver by Mr. Radhakrishnan Acharya (RK Jewel Tech).
These include Silver and Gold waist coat and a turban on a 6 feet mannequin;
Lord Ganapathy with shawl and dhoti; gold plated Silver wallet and a Sai Baba
Idol with shawl and turban
. A Designer
Lounge where leading designers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will
display their designs and craftsmanship
. Three days
insightful Seminar: This will take place concurrently at the fair to discuss
topics such as 'Spotlight on Synthetics', 'History and value factors of pearls'
by GIA, 'Vitamin Money for progressive retailers and Best practises in
inventory management' by Mr. Shivaram, Director, Retail Gurukul
. Day 3 will
witness an 'All
State meet' of Telangana
District Associations
The fair is a
gateway to the Indian jewellery market, with a special focus on South India's
range of designer jewellery and provides an excellent platform for buyers and
suppliers to connect, network, exchange ideas, discover upcoming trends and
generate business opportunities. The expo continues to attract well-reputed
local and overseas buyers from Dubai , Malaysia , Singapore and many more countries,
reinforcing the expo's position as a proven and trusted sourcing hub for the
industry.

towns such as Vijayawada , Guntur ,
Vizag, Nellore and Warangal .
The HJF is one of
the five-city jewellery shows (Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad ,
Mumbai and Delhi )
that are hosted throughout the year by UBM India. Internationally, UBM plc
