Zinnov Awards 2018: Celebrating The Titans In Tech
Zinnov hosts its Annual Awards for the 9th
consecutive year, recognizing individuals and organizations at the forefront of
the technology industry
With the theme, 'The X Factor - Distinguishing Leaders from
Laggards', Zinnov Management Consulting
hosted the 11th edition of its Annual Zinnov Confluence 2018, on the
20th and 21stof June at Taj Yeshwantpur, Bangalore .
The Confluence series, over the last decade, has established itself as
a compelling thought leadership and networking platform. This year too, the
event saw participation from over 3500+ senior leaders from MNC R&D and
Digital companies, leading Indian firms, academia, and start-ups, who engaged
in compelling talks, insightful debates, enthralling panel discussions and
more, to explore and ideate on strategies for innovation in this era of
constant technology disruption.
The star attraction of the two-day long event was the 'Zinnov
Awards 2018', an evening dedicated to recognizing and felicitating
outstanding individuals and organizations, for their notable contributions
across different categories in the Technology MNC GIC space. The august
gathering included senior leaders from the ecosystem, innovators, industry
stalwarts, and the who's who of the Indian R&D and Digital space.
Zinnov Awards continues to be an acknowledged standard in recognizing
the achievements and contributions of GICs in India , and this year too, saw an
overwhelming response with over 300+ nominations from 100+ companies across 9
award categories.
With 2018 said to be the Year of the 'Rising Stars', the focus was on
small and emerging GICs, whose efforts have helped drive value for the global
organization, while building a strong presence in the country. It equally
emphasized on those India
centers that have gone above and beyond their mandates to influence the vision
and charter for the global organization, by setting up centers of excellence on
new technologies, collaborating with the ecosystem, adopting digital and
gearing up for the future.

& Emerging Technologies): This category was an individual
contributor award and recognized those individuals who have been star
contributors to the internal and external technology ecosystem. They have
served by example and inspired individuals both within their organization and
beyond, to emulate them and follow a technical career path.
